Prenatal massage

The prenatal massage is a very necessary massage for a pregnant woman, and even more so in these dates of high heat and temperature changes.

Why is prenatal massage important?

Massage during pregnancy is very important to prevent pain, although it will also help to eliminate it.

Legs

In summer, pregnant women, because of the heat, may begin to notice a slight tingling in their legs, it is also very common to notice how they begin to swell and even see new varicose veins.

Another common symptom in pregnant women is the disappearance of the plantar bridge or the appearance of a bunion, both of which may not return to normal.

Hip.

The opening of the hip, due to the positioning of the unborn child, often creates discomfort in the piriformis and/or gluteus, and can even pinch the sciatic nerve.

Because of the opening of the hips and weight gain, lower back pain is also very common in pregnant women.

Retention

After this small parenthesis, as we started by saying, in summer pregnant women suffer a lot from fluid retention and poor circulation. This often leads to a loop or vicious circle. As it is hot, pregnant women tend to lead a more sedentary life, which causes retention (which gives a feeling of heaviness and pain), which means that we don't want to move.

One of the ways to help eliminate and/or prevent this retention is through massage. A lymphatic drainage or circulatory massage can really help your body to activate circulation.

Overview of prenatal massage

The prenatal massage contains a mixture of both lymphatic and circulatory massages, as well as working on the lower back, arms, etc.
